How To Treat A Pimple In Nose Inside Nostril

A pimple that forms inside the nostril can be caused by picking the nose and this type is most common in children who transfer dirt containing bacteria from beneath their fingernails to the delicate membranes inside the nose.

1. In a small bowl, put a teaspoon of salt and dissolve in a small amount of freshly boiled water. Allow this to cool.
2. Dip a Q Tip into the cooled salty water, press off excess water on the side of the bowl and use the Q tip to gently clean the affected area. Discard the cotton bud.
3. If necessary, repeat with a clean Q Tip, do not dip the same cotton bud back in the water.
4. Next dry the area if possible by gently wiping with another Q Tip.
5. Now use another bud to apply a tiny amount of Neosporin cream to the affected area. (Neosporin is a topical antibiotic ointment and other antibiotic creams are also available on the market which would probably work just as well).

6. Repeat the pimple treatment morning and night or as often as directed on the antibiotic cream you have chosen.

How to Use a Pimple Extractor Tool

Instead of prodding and poking at your pimples with your fingers, which can often cause scarring or transfer bacteria to the skin (from traces of dirt and oil on your hands), try using a specially designed pimple extractor tool.

This is a simple tool, but can be highly effective as a pimple treatment if used correctly. It removes dirt from deep within the pore, clearing the existing blemish and helping to prevent future outbreaks.

A pimple extraction tool is available from pharmacies and many other stores. As well as the tool itself, you will need some rubbing alcohol. Take the time to prepare your skin before using the tool. The best time to use it is immediately after a hot shower or a facial steam (hold your head over a bowl of boiling water, with a towel over it to collect the steam) because your pores will be open and your skin as clean as it can be. Alternatively, soak a washcloth in hot water for a couple of minutes, then place it over your skin for a few minutes. You will see that the tool has one looped end. This end should be placed flat on the surface of the skin, with the opening encircling the spot. Using the tips of clean fingers, apply pressure in one slow, even movement.

This should force the oil trapped inside the follicle out. If it does not seem to be working, take a break from it. The contents of the blemish may not be ready to come out, and forcing it can lead to scarring and even infection.

The other end of the tool has a lancet end, which can be used to extract whiteheads. This should be sterilized with the rubbing alcohol before you start the process. Again, make sure the whiteheads are ready to pop, and don’t try piercing deep, cystic blemishes.

How to Get Rid of Pimples on Your Back

Maybe you need to start from the beginning and look at what is causing the blemishes. Back acne is no different from acne on the face; it is caused by blocked pores.

When an excessive amount of sebum (oil) is produced, dead skin cells get trapped in the pores and this attracts bacteria, which leads to pimples. This over-production of oil may be down to hormones, genetics, stress or diet and lifestyle factors. Teenagers often suffer from back pimples because their bodies are going through puberty, which plays havoc with hormones.

Your first step in how to get rid of pimples on the back is to adopt a regular washing routine. Take a shower or bath every day, use an anti-bacterial soap (use a mild product on sensitive skin) and pay close attention to your back. Avoid excessive washing however as this can dry the skin out.

Try different types of exfoliators, such as loofahs, body brushes and scrubs, until you find the one that works best for your skin type.
